The Perth side had a good win over Falkirk last week, but they tend to lose goals.
So, even though Aberdeen will have to do without Chris Maguire and Maurice Ross because of their red cards against United, while young Fraser Fyvie is now injured, I fancy the home side to get the result they desperately need.
Prediction: 2-1
Hamilton Accies v Motherwell
I watched Hamilton last week and they were really good and got a great three points away to St Mirren.
When Billy Reid's side go ahead, they are dogged and well-drilled, but it is how they approach the game when they go behind that I worry about.
Lanarkshire rivals Motherwell had a couple of bad results but came back with a good win over Hearts.
Despite having a very young team, they have been relatively consistent and I see this being a typical, close derby, with Hamilton difficult to break down and taking a point.
Prediction: 1-1
Hearts v Hibernian
Hearts go and win at Celtic Park in the Co-operative Insurance Cup then follow it with a poor performance in losing to Motherwell.
You don't know what you are going to get from them, but it seems like they are at their best when they are up against it as they don't roll over the teams you would expect them to beat.
Edinburgh rivals Hibs are flying just now and playing really well - a great team to watch.
They are scoring goals and sharing them about the team, but they are capable of losing them as well and I see this as being another typical derby that will end in a draw.
Prediction: 1-1
Kilmarnock v Dundee United
Kilmarnock were well beaten by Celtic, but that was only to be expected with Tony Mowbray's team so determined to bounce back from their Co-operative Insurance Cup defeat by Hearts.
Manager Jim Jefferies will expect Killie to be winning home games like this, but Dundee United are playing really well at the moment.
Craig Levein's side were impressive against Rangers on Sunday despite being a goal behind when the game was abandoned at half-time.
They move the ball about well in midfield, are quite solid at the back and, while they can put in the odd poor performance, I expect them to win this one if they play to their capabilities.
Prediction: 1-2
Rangers v St Mirren
Rangers have struggled a bit in Europe and had a few draws in the Premier League.
But they were two minutes away from recording a fantastic result against Unirea Urziceni in the Champions League on Wednesday.
They were also playing well against Dundee United before Sunday's game was abandoned at half-time because of a waterlogged pitch.
St Mirren will arrive determined to bounce back after their good run came to end with a disappointing home defeat by Hamilton despite playing some nice football.
They will keep it tight and make it tough for Rangers, as they have previously at Ibrox, but they will need to be better than they were at set-pieces last weekend and I don't think the Paisley side will get anything from this game.
Prediction: 2-0
SUNDAY 8 NOVEMBER
Falkirk v Celtic
It is Falkirk's home game, but they are still losing lots of goals and aren't scoring many.
They did grab one last week in their defeat by St Johnstone, but the Perth side are leaking goals too.
Even if Falkirk nick a goal, they usually don't keep a clean sheet, which means they don't win games and I don't see where they are going to turn the corner to prevent themselves becoming detached at the bottom.
Although Celtic are at the bottom of their Europa League group, the SPL leaders got a good result away to Hamburg in midweek.
Apart from last week against Kilmarnock, Celtic are not scoring many goals and again failed to hit the net in Germany, but they beat the Bairns 4-0 with a shadow team the last time they met and should ease to victory again.
Prediction: 1-3
