Blackburn v West Ham
Strange one for both teams. The Hammers were involved in that match against Millwall which brought back many ugly memories of the 1980s.
Regarding team matters, manager Gianfranco Zola has said he only has one centre forward, Carlton Cole, and that the next in line is himself.
Blackburn should have come away with a point from Sunderland at the very least, so they'll be in 'angry bear' mode.
Verdict: 2-1 Match preview
Bolton v Liverpool
If Liverpool are going to have any chance of winning the league they will have to bounce back from the defeat against Aston Villa, like they did after the opening day loss against Spurs.
Bolton had chances against Hull in a match that either side could have won - but they ended up losing.
Verdict: 0-2 Match preview
Stoke v Sunderland
Here are two managers who certainly know the ropes in the Premier League - Stoke's Tony Pulis and Sunderland's Steve Bruce.
Sunderland didn't appear in the first half against Blackburn, then came out and won the points. They would have lost games like that last year.
Verdict: 1-1 Match preview
Tottenham v Birmingham
I love the fact someone asked Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp whether he could compare the current team to the double-winning team of 1961 - they've only won three games!
Yes, they will challenge the top six and yes, they have the makings of a good team.
I do think they will beat Birmingham, who got a point last week and were fortunate against Portsmouth.
Verdict: 3-1 Match preview
Wolves v Hull
All gold v all gold. Wolves have had an interesting start. They had a good win against Wigan and then Manchester City should have been out of sight but in fact were holding on in the end.
Hull will be buoyed by last week's win against Bolton.
Verdict: 2-1 Match preview
Man Utd v Arsenal (1715 KO)
Like all good teams, you bounce back from defeats which Manchester United did after their loss to Burnley.
Arsenal are through to the Champions League group stages. It will be interesting to see how much Wednesday night's win against Celtic has taken it out of them.
I fancy a draw because it's so early in the season.
Verdict: 1-1 Match preview
SUNDAY
Portsmouth v Man City (1330 KO)
Portsmouth have suddenly found some money. Arab owners v Arab owners - who would have thought that 15 years ago.
It's too late for Pompey to bring in a striker before this fixture. They haven't got any quality in front of goal apart from Niko Kranjcar.
I'm looking at City and thinking that maybe the balance is still not quite right - I do think they'll win though.
Verdict: 1-2 Match preview
Everton v Wigan
Everton have made a poor start in the league. Joleon Lescott's gone to Manchester City, so they can concentrate on other matters now.
They have signed midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov from Lokomotiv Moscow. He has some good match practice behind him because the Russian league begins earlier.
This might be a proper game with tackles and much more.
Verdict: 2-0 Match preview
Aston Villa v Fulham (1600 KO)
Both teams are involved in the unbelievable competition called the Europa League.
Fulham have had a massive journey while Villa are at home, so they should have an advantage.
This will be a good footballing match, competitive and high paced.
Verdict: 2-1 Match preview
