Eric Wedge eventually made the move and dropped Peralta out of the three hole and put Hafner there. He should have done this weeks ago. That move sparked the Tribe and I think they'll score a bunch more in this series, which leads to the play on the 'over'.

The Indians lineup does indeed look more imposing with the reconfiguration, and that's bad news for Esteban Loaiza. He's just back from an injury rehab following a terrible April, and Loaiza was getting bounced around pretty hard with Sacramento. I don't think he's likely to contain the Cleveland bats.

The other starter is Jason Johnson, who's not exactly unhittable and who has some terrible numbers against Oakland. The A's had their opportunities against Byrd on Wednesday but didn't deliver much. They should get plenty more shots here vs. Johnson, particularly if the righthander has more cont! rol problems.
