Чемпионат Англии от BBC

Arsenal v Liverpool

Arsenal v Liverpool

Arsenal have had three difficult games against Aston Villa, Man Utd and Chelsea - and picked up just one point from them.

The problem for Arsene Wenger's team is that influential forward Robin van Persie remains a long way off returning.

Liverpool aren't exactly playing all that well but are unbeaten in the five games since their FA Cup defeat against Reading.

I think this game will end in a draw, which would really suit Chelsea and Manchester United as they look to pull away at the top of the table.

Verdict: 1-1

Aston Villa v Manchester United

Aston Villa v Man Utd

Aston Villa have had some big fixtures lately and I think that they have defended very well in those, with clean sheets in their last three games.

When they play the top teams they sometimes sit back at home and look to hit them on the counter. I think they will play this way against United, who had a very easy win against Portsmouth on Saturday.

Verdict: 1-1

Blackburn v Hull
(Kick-off 2000 GMT)

Blackburn v Hull

Hull have done really well lately and look like a different outfit to the team that struggled earlier in the campaign. For one thing, they are now playing with confidence.

Blackburn were easily beaten at Stoke but Rovers deliberately target fixtures against other struggling teams as must-win games if they are to avoid relegation and I think they will take three points off the Tigers.

I don't think this contest will be the prettiest item in the shop.

Verdict: 2-1

Everton v Chelsea
(Kick-off 2000 GMT)

After taking on Liverpool on Saturday I think that it is, in some ways, a good thing that Everton have another big fixture coming up. It will certainly focus the mind of their players and ensure they do not switch off.

Chelsea look like a team that really have got the bit between their teeth at the moment.

They look really strong and are going about their business is a very efficient way.

Verdict: 1-2

West Ham v Birmingham

West Ham v Birmingham

At Turf Moor on Saturday West Ham had enough chances to win three games of football but lost.

I reckon that by the law of sod the Hammers will win against Birmingham, who had a great victory against rivals Wolves on Sunday, are in generally excellent form and might be expected to beat the Hammers.

The boardroom at Upton Park should be an interesting place to be, with former Blues owners David Gold and David Sullivan now in charge at West Ham.

They will be desperate to see see the Hammers win and I reckon that might transmit down to Gianfranco Zola and his players.

Verdict: 2-0

Wolves v Tottenham

Wolves v Spurs

Tottenham are not in the most convincing of form at the moment. They are playing some decent football but lack a cutting edge.

I am not quite sure the last time Wolves won - and they are definitely a team that is struggling to find the back of the net.

Verdict: 0-0
