Чемпионат Англии от BBC

SATURDAY

Everton v Man Utd (1200 BST)

Graphic

I know everything's piling up on Everton at the moment but they did better than a 1-3 loss at Arsenal suggested last week.

Moyes will get them working really hard, certainly better defensively. I think it will be one of the quickest games of the season and Everton will be biting into the tackle as often as possible.

Rooney going back to Goodison Park is another aspect. But he will prefer the three points rather than getting his 100th career goal.

Verdict: 1-1

Match preview
Predictions from Kappara.ru : 1-2 , Everton (+1.5),Both teams to score , total over 2.5

Sunderland v Newcastle (1245 BST)

Graphic

Hard to predict, but Joe Kinnear's done okay as Newcastle boss. They showed lots of spirit in drawing with Man City on Monday night.

Sunderland's home form has not been great. A draw is not really what either side want but Kinnear has given Newcastle that bit of fight. Defences will not be on top.

Verdict: 2-2

Match preview
Predictions from Kappara.ru : 1-1 , Newcastle (+1)

West Brom v Hull (1500 BST)

Graphic

Both clubs will be delighted with their starts to the season and Hull have been sensational.

West Brom have improved themselves defensively (a 4-0 defeat by Man United at Old Trafford can happen to anyone), which is a cute move from Tony Mowbray. He will have known goals are more difficult to come by in the Premier League.

Hull are a big scalp now, their confidence is extremely high. If West Brom can win, they will think they are heading in the right direction.

Verdict: 2-0

Match preview
Predictions from Kappara.ru : 1-1 , both teams to score 1.8

Blackburn v Middlesbrough (1730 BST)

Graphic

It's interesting to see that manager Paul Ince thinks Robbie Fowler can still do a job for Blackburn. That remains to be seen.

Boro were completely outclassed by Chelsea last week, as if they needed reminding of the gulf in class between some teams in the Premier League.

I have to go for a home win.

Verdict: 2-0

Match preview
Predictions from Kappara.ru : 2-1 , Blackburn (0) , Blackbern over 1 goals

SUNDAY

Chelsea v Liverpool (1330 GMT)

Graphic

I think it is a nailed-on draw. Liverpool beat Manchester United recently so they'll be happy to go to Stamford Bridge for a point.

Benitez will flood the midfield and send Chelsea's full-backs Jose Boswinga and Ashley Cole into the five men strung across the middle, rather than letting them have any opportunity to get down the line.

Nil-nil, no goals, but no shortage of incident. Will need a strong referee.

Verdict: 0-0

Match preview
Predictions from Kappara.ru : 1-0, Chelsi (0)

Man City v Stoke

Graphic

Everything City do at the moment is magnified because of the new money they have got. But they are a little bit easy to play through when they haven't got the ball. I expect Mark Hughes to address that over the coming months.

But Stoke on the road have struggled. City will have enough at the back and will see a lot of the ball.

Verdict: 2-0

Match preview

Tottenham v Bolton

Graphic

Spurs played well against Stoke last week, even though they lost. They played some really good football but missed crucial chances.

I think as long as they can cope with Bolton's physical strengths they will win. And it will be a red letter day for Juande Ramos, finally.

Verdict: 2-0

Match preview

Wigan v Aston Villa

Graphic

If Wigan sulk after getting robbed at Anfield last week, they could struggle. But I'm sure Steve Bruce won't let that happen.

Villa have the kind of team which can sit back away from home, soak up the pressure, and then pick you off. Though they have stuttered of late, I expect them to win at the JJB.

Verdict: 1-2

Match preview

West Ham v Arsenal (1600 GMT)

Graphic

It's been a funny start for Gianfranco Zola at Upton Park and they probably deserved something at Hull last week, where they had lots of chances.

But you've got an Arsenal team that's just kicking into top gear now. Aside from the obvious threat of Theo Walcott, Robin Van Persie is starting to play regularly, Emmanuel Adebayor is looking good and Cesc Fabregas is there. What a potent attacking team.

Yes, Arsenal are missing players defensively. But it's hard to hurt teams when you cannot get the ball, which West Ham may struggle to do.

Verdict: 0-2

Match preview

Portsmouth v Fulham (1700 GMT)

Graphic

Pompey had a strange start to the season but have slowly started to chip away and get points here and there.

They look a much more solid team now and will have too much for Fulham.

Verdict: 2-1
